WebI've been playing green hell for over a year with a buddy of mine. At first it was a super challenging game and we sunk hours into it looking for good places to build and generally getting better. Lately it hasn't felt challenging, we give ourselves goals; all metal everything, plant every plantable, but even those haven't gotten stale. WebWhile you fight more bosses, you get so much more gear that the game actually gets easier than it is on normal pretty quickly (since you'll have better gear). For example, when I switched to Veteran in act 3, I got more green and blue equipment in the first hour of playing than I got the whole time I played the game on normal.

The "walk in the park" easy mode doesn't have much danger in it (no hostile natives, no predators). I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for some thrill.
