So I headed up that way and guessed at each Y in the road and ended up at the trailhead at 11:30. Not too bad for leaving my place at 7:30. Anyway, it was a short hike only 3 miles total but it kicked my butt going up. You gain 1,400 feet in 1.5 miles.
