Speedball ink thinner
Webyou could try transparent base, I've only used speedball base. It'll thin the ink and keep it from drying too quickly but if you use a lot it's gonna be transparent, hence the name. It doesn't look as rich though, it's more of a matte finish. 2) The consistency is thinner (relief printing inks ARE thinner than etching inks, it's a whole different process of inking and printing). 3) It feels noticeably "grittier" versus oil based etching ink.
